After many years of travelling I chanced myself into a job that I was surrounded by fabrics and wallpapers from all over around the globe, this drove my passion to gain a diploma in Interior Design, from here I became (and still am, I LOVE it!) a tutor to our future Interior Designers with the Open Polytechnic of New Zealand, and with a very clear path DH Design evolved into my biggest passion all.
I always start our initial meetings with a strong cup of coffee and discussion on your plans, your life and your style so I can gain the knowledge to then present you with new and interesting décor schemes, ideas that put you outside of your comfort zone of what you thought design should look like and offer excitement about your project, I see it in my new clients eyes after our initial meetings the passion to see their new home evolve.
I love beautiful homes created with natural materials, layered with texture and harmony, and believe that no space is complete without fresh flowers, plants or a simple stem of greenery picked from your garden.
